Rush is One of The Highest Alpine Lakes
Rush Lake is a high altitude lake located near Rush Pari Peak (5,098 m). At over 4,694 meters, Rush is one of the highest alpine lakes in the world. It is located about 15 km north of Miar Peak and Spantik(Golden Peak), which are in the Nagar valley. Rush Lake and Rush Peak can be reached via Nagar and Hopar and via the Hopar Glacier (Bualtar Glacier) and Miar Glacier, which rises from Miar and Phuparashpeaks. The trek to Rush Lake provides spectacular views of Spantik, Malubiting, Miar Peak, Phuparash Peak and Ultar Sar.
Rush Lake Trek Pakistan:
Rush Lake trek is a rather easy but well rewarding trek in the heart of the Hunza valley Pakistan. This treks will take you to the amazing Karakorum mountains clusters the best on earth. You will be Crossing glaciers, meadows and terraced fields of Karakoram. The trek ends at Rush Lake. (4,700 m 15,400 ft):
Whats more is that if we climb a nearby hilltop, we can see K2 along with the other high peaks of the Karakoram from here.
This is a short trek you will start by driving by Jeep across the hunza river at Hoper. This is where the snout of the famous Barpu glacier meets another glacier called Bualter. Hunzakuts (local people from Hunza) believe that glaciers are either male or female. Each glacier exudes its own gender qualities and when a male and female glacier meet they give birth to a baby glacier!
ITINERARY
- DAY 1
Arrive in Islamabad received our team and transfer to hotel. same day if u love to see graceful valley MURREE u can but you have to pay for this separately. Company arranges everything. - DAY 2
IslamabadTo Gilgit Or Chilas
Fly to Gilgit if flight operate or drive to Chilas through Karakoram Highway (12 or 13 hrs) (480km). KKH pass. - DAY 3
Drive to Hunza Karimabad overnight in hotel. - DAY 4
Free day in Hunza Karimabad, visit for Altit and Baltit Fort, if would like to do shopping can. - DAY 5
Drive to Hopper by Jeep early morning same time and same day Treks start Barpu Giram acrossing Barpu Glacier camp there. - DAY 6
Trek towards to Rush Lake 4760m .Its a day for very beautiful views for every sides. - DAY 7
It’s a very fantastic free day for climbing to Rush Peak (5094m). - DAY 8
Start Trek back to Phari Phari , with pretty view looks of Golden Peak and Barpu Glacier. Keep walking through under the junipers and our camp ll be at Chukutans in tent. - DAY 9
Trek back to Barpu Giram. - DAY 10
Early morning Trek back to Hopper via Barpu Glacier to Hoppar and same day and same time drive by jeeps to Hunza. Overnight in Hotel.
